Daniele Archibugi - Curriculum Vitae

	Daniele Archibugi (Roma, 1958) è dirigente tecnologo del Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, IRPPS, Istituto di Ricerche sulla Popolazione e le Politiche Sociali e Professore di Innovation, Governance and Public Policy all'Università di Londra, Birkbeck College.
	Si è laureato in Economia e Commercio presso l'Università di Roma "La Sapienza" con Federico Caffè e ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca in Science and Technology Policy Studies (SPRU) presso l'Università del Sussex, dove ha lavorato con Chris Freeman e Keith Pavitt. E' stato stagiaire presso la Commissione Europea a Bruxelles (1981) e Junior Consultant presso l'Organizzazione per la Cooperazione e lo Sviluppo Economico a Parigi (1983).
	Ha svolto attività di ricerca e didattica presso le Università del Sussex , di Cambridge, di Napoli e di Roma "La Sapienza" e "Tor Vergata". Nell’anno accademico 2003-2004 è stato Leverhulme Visiting Professor alla London School of Economics and Political Science. Nel'anno accademico 2004-2005 è stato Lauro de Bosis Visiting Professor alla Harvard University.
	E' consulente di varie organizzazioni internazionali quali la Comunità Europea, l'OCSE e varie agenzie delle Nazioni Unite. Dal febbraio 1997 al febbraio 2002 è stato Commissario dell'Autorità sui servizi pubblici locali del Comune di Roma.
	La sua attività didattica e i suoi interessi di ricerca si sono indirizzati verso l’economia del cambiamento tecnologico, la globalizzazione e i problemi dell’organizzazione internazionale.
